Learning with Pony Power – Abbey Gardens, Haliburton

A wonderful feature article on Dreamwinds' Graduate Lesley English of Abbey Gardens.   Lesley completed her EAL Facilitator Certification with Dreamwinds in March, 2017 and launched APPLE - Abbey Gardens Pony Powered Learning Experience.  She is delivering life skills programs using the proven Cartier Farms EAL Curriculum.

2017 Entrepreneur of the Year

What an honour to be named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Bradford Board of Trade!  The Bradford Board Of Trade Business Excellence Awards is an effort to highlight the dedicated and talented business community in Bradford West Gwillimbury. Businesses must be within BWG or a member in good standing with the BBT.  It was a wonderful night of celebration as we honoured an incredible group of dedicated, passionate entrepreneurs.  We are so grateful to receive this recognition.

Dreamwinds Jimmy Leads 2016 Bradford Terry Fox Run

A record number of walkers, runners, joggers and cyclists turned out for this year's Terry Fox Run in Bradford, on September 18. Organizer Elsie Silva Kniff called the response, “Awesome!” Dreamwinds is a proud supporter of the Bradford Terry Fox run and was thrilled to join the run with mascot Jimmy the Clydesdale.

BBT Awards Dreamwinds 2016 Business Excellence

The Bradford Board of Trade is the voice of business in Bradford West Gwillimbury - welcoming new businesses, promoting local economic initiatives, hosting seminars and networking evenings, and celebrating the success of local entrepreneurs. On October 22, the BBT held its annual Awards night and Gala, its biggest celebration of the year, at The Club at Bond Head, on the theme “Midnight in Paris.”

2016 Dreamwinds Horse Day A Success

More than 700 people walked onto the grounds at Dreamwinds Equine Assisted Learning Centre on June 4 to celebrate all things horse at the 3rd annual Horse Day event. As part of Equine Canada’s eighth annual Horse Day celebrations, Dreamwinds opened their doors for a free public event to introduce people of all ages to the world of horses.

In the footsteps of Terry Fox

The Bradford Terry Fox Run got a new mascot this year: Jimmy the Clydesdale, from Dreamwinds Equine Assisted Learning Centre. Jimmy is also a cancer survivor, and “spokes-horse” for equine cancers. He was running “for all the cancer survivors and fighters, past and present.”

March Break Horsemanship Camp

Dreamwinds Equine Assisted Learning held 2 action packed fun filled days with all things horse for kids 8-13 over march break. Kids got to learn about: Horsemanship - care & safe handling of horses Leadership Development - learning to lead, work together, building communication skills with fun games with the horses Crafts - flex creative skills with a quality craft to keep.

BBT Celebrates Business

Dreamwinds Honoured to be named Best New Business: The Bradford Board of Trade celebrated business excellence at a Gala evening, held at The Club at Bond Head, October 2. In a room decorated in white, black and teal, with fresh flowers and touches of “bling” at every table, members and guests enjoyed dinner, a Silent Auction, outstanding dance performances by the Simcoe Dance Academy and Bradford School of Dance, and the comedic talents of Faisal Butt, emcee.
